On November 1, 2022, Collective Wisdom: Co-Creating Media for Equity and Justice was released by the MIT Press. Authored by Co-Creation Studio Artistic Director Katerina Cizek and Open Documentary Lab Co-Founder William Urrichio and co-authored by co-founder Sarah Wolozin, the book's release was a flagship event for the lab during the 2022-23 academic year. The lab hosted a release-day celebration on November 1 before the official world premiere of the book at the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam in mid-November.
